Kelso Building Services designs, installs, commissions, and monitors variable refrigerant flow systems across metro markets in eight states
From Phoenix and Las Vegas to Houston, Atlanta, and Tampa. One refrigerant loop, delivering independent heating and cooling to every zone in your building.
A dedicated VRF/VRV service leadership team and crosstrained technicians who work on these systems every day; not a once-a-year add-on.
We install and service all major VRF and controls platforms, so your systems, sites, and standards stay consistent across a portfolio.
VRF paired with controls, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration. One call, one accountable partner, fewer vendors to manage.
Centralized coordination and proactive, scheduled service keep VRF running at peak efficiency across every location you operate.
We size the system to the actual load, not the nameplate. Inverter-driven compressors modulate capacity down to a single zone, so the loop spends most of its life at part load; where VRF is most efficient. Our Service Technicians lay out the refnet branch tree, set line-set lengths and vertical separation within manufacturer limits, calculate refrigerant charge, and specify heat-recovery or heat-pump configuration to match how the building is actually occupied.
Every job is commissioned and balanced, then handed off with controls fully integrated into your building automation system. Kelso Building Services is compatible with all major BAS brands, so the VRF network reports alongside the rest of your MEP+ plant.
INCLUDED IN SCOPE
Load Calculations and System Selection • Refnet / Branch Design • Heat-Recovery Configuration • Line-Set Sizing and Charge • Controls and BAS Integration • Commissioning and TAB
Each zone runs its own setpoint from one quiet outdoor unit, so a south-facing conference room can cool while the loading dock calls for heat. At the same time, on the same loop. Fewer moving parts on the roof means fewer failure points and fewer truck rolls.
Once you're live, Kelso Building Services keeps watching. Our 24 x 7 remote monitoring flags a drifting compressor or a fouled coil before it becomes a comfort complaint, and proactive maintenance plans keep the system in the efficient band it was designed for. One point of contact owns the whole loop.
INCLUDED IN SCOPE
Zone-by -Zone Control • 24 x 7 Remote Monitoring • Proactive Maintenance Plans • Rapid Fault Isolation • Filter and Coil Service • Single Point of Accountability
VRF earns its place on the capital plan by running only as hard as the building asks. Part-load efficiency and heat recovery, reusing heat rejected from one zone to warm another, pull down energy spend without touching occupant comfort.
For multi-site portfolios, Kelso Building Services standardizes the VRF approach across every one of the 11+ metro areas we. serve. So a facility in one market performs and reports like a facility in the next. Thirty-plus years in MEP+ means the system you install this year still has a partner behind it a decade from now.
INCLUDED IN SCOPE
Energy-Cost Reductions • Utility Rebate Capture • Multi-Site Standardization • Capital-Plan Forecasting • 30+ Years Longevity • All Major BAS Brands
Lower HVAC Energy Use vs. Conventional Systems
Typical Payback in Most U.S. Climates
Whisper-Quiet Indoor Operation
